Finally
it arrived. The first rain here in the Galilea. It took its time arriving this
year but here is it and it warms my heart.
I
woke up last night and heard it tapping loudly on the windows. After the
initial excitement I remembered I had left the car windows open…damn!
First
thing in the morning when Gefen and I woke up we ran outside. Oh what joy!
Everything sparkled from the wonderful drops of rain. And the smell of the wet
earth…ah the smell…I take a deep breath and my heart expands. There is no doubt
that this is the best smell in the world.
That’s
it, an enchanted morning, full of nature, sparkles and joy.
